The boy whose skin fell off
This was another documentary which bought up major moral issues, as it opened with Jonny Kennedy, a 37 year old man, dead in his wheelchair. The documentary followed Jonny, a man suffering from a rare skin disease DEB, for the last 4 months of his life. It showed him planning his funeral, and doing the last few things he wanted to do before he died, for example fly plane and have a house warming. It also showed him fund-raise and bring awareness to the disease before he died, in order to help others by trying to find a cure. This documentary bought up controversial issues such as how people deal with the inevitability of death, if Jonny's mum knew about the condition before he was born, would she have aborted, and the representation of spirituality and religion through Jonny's opinions and life.
