Questionnaire results

Without an audience, there is no point creating a media product. The media industry spends millions ensuring they are providing the correct content to their audience by finding out what their target audience want from their media product. No matter how amazing, or creative a product.

Therefore it is key that we identify who are core audience is, and also who are broader audiences would be, so we are able to create a media product that will appeal to a majority of people.

I created a questionnaire for 15 people to answer so that I could get a clear idea of what the public like. The age range was 15-50, and there was a mix of genders.

These were the results

Have you watched the ‘How deep is your love’ music video? Yes=11  No=4
Have you watched Sia? Yes=9  No=6
Do you listen to pop songs regularly? Yes=6  No=9
Do you like there being a story-line in a music video? Yes=14  No=1
Do you listen to pop song regularly? Yes=12  No=3
How often do you watch music videos? The majority of people said once a week of less.
Do you like the 'How Deep Is Your Love' music video? There was a positive feedback about that music video from the people who had watched it.
What do you want from a music video? Most people said for it to match the theme of the song, as when they are listening to the song they are able to picture the story, because of the music video.
